The science behind
 frequency wearables

Built on more than 30 years of biophysics research. Here's how it works — and where the current evidence begins and ends.

TL;DR

30 Years of Biophysics. Now made wearable.

FrequenCell is a frequency wearable — a small device that carries tailored electromagnetic frequencies, designed to work with the body's natural cell signaling to support balance, recovery and everyday wellbeing. Built on more than 30 years of biophysics research, it brings a technology once confined to clinics into something you simply wear.

  • How it works: each FrequenCell emits frequencies that interact with the body's own electromagnetic signaling — supporting the 30 trillion+ cells that communicate in your body every second. No charging, no setup.
  • Our first medical product for knee osteoarthritis is coming to market, backed by promising clinical study results showing significantly reduced pain, improved knee function and quality of life after just 12 weeks, with 79% of participants rating the therapy as “good” or “excellent”.
  • More research: in-vitro laboratory studies recorded a 25% increase in cell regeneration and a 60% increase in metabolic activity in treated cell cultures vs. controls, plus a 23% rise in neutrophil activity (Japan Journal of Medicine). A clinical investigation has also been completed. Sources are linked below.
  • Used & trusted: part of the daily routine of tens of thousands of people, refined across 30+ years of practice, technology independently certified as safe by EUROFINS.
  • Lasts: one FrequenCell stays effective for minimum 12 months — always on, working quietly on your body.

Your body already runs on signals

Part of the body's signaling is electromagnetic. Modern science recognizes that both organic and inorganic matter — and all living cells and organisms — emit subtle energy fields. Those fields influence how the body regulates its chemistry, how cells communicate, and how biological functions are carried out.

FrequenCell uses tailored electromagnetic frequencies to help align the body's natural energy patterns, supporting cell communication and regeneration. Each FrequenCell interacts with the signals your body already produces — to support balance, recovery and everyday wellbeing.

This idea has a long history. Four decades ago, researchers in biophysics began studying how electromagnetic fields influence living systems — nudging how molecules move and line up, how cells take up and manage energy, and how the fast chemical reactions inside them play out. That body of work is the foundation the frequency wearable is built on.

Your body is electromagnetic
Each cell in your body is sending and receiving signals.

A system that optimises itself

The human body isn't a linear machine driven by chemical energy as already stated above. It's an open system that strives to self-optimise within its wider biological, biochemical and biophysical ecosystem. Scientists call this ongoing process autopoiesis — the natural tendency of living systems to repair and regenerate in response to internal and external cues.

Cells are constantly renewing, repairing and adapting in response to challenges and stimuli. The body continuously adjusts, reorganizes and optimises itself, restoring balance without the need for external control — provided the biological framework is intact and the energetic environment is sufficiently coherent. The ability to hold this dynamic equilibrium in a changing world is known as homeostasis.

The cells this signaling reaches

The body is built from many specialized cell types, each differing in structure, function and genetic activity — and all of them part of the same constant exchange of information:

  • Connective tissue cells — fibroblasts, fat cells
  • Blood cells — red, white, and platelets
  • Immune cells — T cells, B cells, macrophages
  • Bone & stem cells — building, repairing, renewing

With the various FrequenCells, I achieve excellent results with my patients. I use them frequently for both sudden and long-lasting issues, even beyond my own field of specialization. The results I see continually impress me. These frequency wearables have become an integral part of my international practice group.

A body in constant motion

It's easy to forget how much is happening inside you at any moment. Your cells aren't passive building blocks — they're a vast, fast-moving communication network, constantly signaling, adjusting and rebuilding.

30 trillion

cells communicating in your body every second

100,000

biochemical reactions per cell, per second

50 kg

ATP — cellular energy — generated daily

Within that constant activity, the body is always working toward balance — repairing tissue, clearing stressors, and keeping its systems in tune. Frequency wearables are designed to sit alongside that process: not to override the body, but to support the signaling it already does.

The physics behind the frequencies

Electromagnetic fields shape what happens inside living things — that's not fringe science, it's physics. Fields can move and align molecules, shift the energy of electrons, and steer the fast reactions that run a cell. Biophysics has studied this for decades. It's the ground everything here is built on.

FrequenCell puts that principle to work in a form you can wear. Its frequencies travel through the body the way most signals do — for example through water, which carries and absorbs them, and which makes up around 70% of you. They meet the electromagnetic signaling your cells already run on, and work alongside it.

And the effect shows up where it counts — under the microscope. Cells exposed to the frequencies regenerated faster, ran more active metabolism, and multiplied more than untreated controls. The body is a harder thing to measure than a dish, which is why the research continues — but the direction is consistent, and it points one way.

The technology inside FrequenCell

FrequenCell is made possible by a patented, frequency-sensitive composite material developed by a team of scientists in Austria. It can charge and retain electromagnetic frequencies with minimal emission loss, and has been tested by cell labs and practitioners since 2017.

The composite is designed to store and emit its frequencies with extraordinary durability — for at least twelve months from a single FrequenCell — which is what makes a wearable, maintenance-free format possible. A special magnetic coating helps protect the cell from everyday electrosmog.
The FrequenCell is placed on a chosen area of the body and worn as part of a daily routine.

See it in action: in one of Dr. Dartsch's tests (see below), two identical cell cultures were filmed side by side — One had previously been exposed to the frequencell for a longer period of time, while the control group had not. The clip below shows how they compared under the microscope.

From clinic-scale systems to something you wear

This technology isn't new, and it didn't start as a wearable device. For decades, frequency-based approaches lived in large, clinic-scale equipment — cabinets of hardware, operated by doctors and trained practitioners across Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and used in sessions you had to book and travel to.

The breakthrough behind FrequenCell was making that technology small and portable. A patented composite material can store and emit specific frequencies — making the technology accessible even when there are no specialists in your area or you don’t have an appointment. What once required a session with a practitioner can now be worn discreetly on your skin, working quietly in the background as part of your everyday routine.

That's the shift: from occasional sessions to something always within reach.

Research behind the technology

The work behind frequency wearables spans laboratory and clinical settings. Some of it is early and observational; some, like the knee study, is a completed clinical investigation. Below is where things stand today — with each setting named honestly, so you can weigh the evidence yourself.

Cell regeneration test results revealed

Prof. Dr. Peter Dartsch, CEO of Dartsch Scientific GmbH, runs a laboratory focused exclusively on animal-free cell-biological test systems. His company was given two anonymized FrequenCells to test for effects at the cellular level — one a charged FrequenCell, one a placebo — without knowing which was which.

We did our analyses and were surprised that one of the FrequenCells was noticeably better than the other. It clearly improved the rate of cell regeneration in the cultures, and increased the activity of the defense cells more than the other FrequenCell did.

Under those in-vitro conditions, Dartsch measured an increase in cell regeneration in the order of 20–25%, and an increase in the activity of the defense cells of up to 60%, compared with the control — among the higher results his lab has recorded over the decades.

What the science can say — and what people say

Laboratory numbers describe what happens in a controlled setting. Most of the measurable evidence so far comes from in-vitro work — tests on cell cultures, where differences have been observed between cells exposed to a FrequenCell and untreated controls.

Numbers describe what happens in a dish; people describe what it's like to live with — and that's a different kind of knowing.

The picture that emerges is best read as a whole rather than any single number. In the laboratory, independent cell-biology tests point in a consistent direction: cells exposed to the FrequenCell behaved measurably differently from untreated controls — regenerating faster, more active in their metabolism, and more numerous over time. In the clinic, an ethics-approved trial in people with knee osteoarthritis found a steady, statistically significant easing of pain and a clear gain in day-to-day quality of life over three months.

Knee osteoarthritis — clinical feasibility trial (2025)

An independent, ethics-approved, single-arm feasibility study (Ethics Commission of the City of Vienna; registered clinical trial) evaluated locally applied frequency therapy — the technology behind the OsteoCell — in 24 patients with confirmed knee osteoarthritis. Participants wore the device on the knee 24 hours a day for three months across three Austrian centres.

The clinical study showed a clear positive trend: After 12 weeks, participants reported significantly less pain, both during daily life and at rest. At the same time, knee function and quality of life improved, with results continuing to improve throughout the study period.

Most encouragingly, 79% of participants rated the therapy as “good” or “excellent” after 12 weeks.

MenstruationCell — user research programme

As part of an ongoing evidence base, FrequenCell ran a 12-month observational programme with 100 participants across therapy centres in Austria, using structured before-and-after questionnaires to record how women experienced wearing the Cell through their cycle.

The results show that over two-thirds of participants no longer experience lower abdominal pain or breast tenderness, more than half report clearer skin, 30% are free of headaches, two-thirds have reduced cravings, and 10% have changed their eating habits.

This is early observational research based on self-reported experience, not a controlled clinical trial.

Neutrophil activity

In a peer-reviewed study, cell biologist Prof. Dr. Peter Dartsch tested the frequency chip on human neutrophil cells — the immune system's first-line "first responders" — grown in culture. Cells were differentiated over six days with the chip present or absent (control), across five independent experiments, physically separated by aluminium foil to isolate the effect.

Compared with untreated controls, the exposed cells showed a 23% increase in basal metabolic activity and a 21% increase in the generation of superoxide radicals, both statistically significant — alongside a 17% rise in cell number.

The authors note these in-vitro findings might point to a more efficient first-line defense. As laboratory observations in isolated cells, they allow no conclusions about the immune system of the human body.

Cell metabolism, growth & regeneration

Cell biologist Prof. Dr. Peter Dartsch tested the FrequenCell on cultured human connective-tissue cells, using two anonymized FrequenCells — one active, one a dummy — without knowing which was which, with cultures separated by aluminium foil to isolate the effect. A clear effect only appeared after 12–24 hours of continuous exposure.

Compared with untreated controls, the FrequenCell-exposed cell cultures showed:

  • +12.6% basal cell metabolism after 24 hours
  • +56.6% cell number after 6 days of continuous exposure
  • Faster cell regeneration and recovery compared to untreated cells. All results were statistically significant

These are in-vitro observations in isolated cell cultures. They allow no conclusions about effects in the human body.
